HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT
Kenneth is a second generation Meritorious United States Marine Corps veteran and campaign service medal recipient. Jenks entered the Marine Corps at age 17. He was a meritorious Corporal at age 19 and Sergeant at age 20.
Kenneth was deployed abroad with the 1st and 3rd Marines deployed to Okinawa and the Korean Peninsula north of the 38th Parallel at the DMZ. He is the recipient of the Korean Defense Service Medal. Kenneth received an honorable discharge at age 21.
As a competitive swimmer for the Marine Corps swim team, Kenneth progressed to two annual United States Naval Southern Pacific Regional Championships. Jenks received Gold, Silver, and Bronze titles in several events.
